I left reddit because of how the comment scoring worked. Neutral stances addressing extremes are down voted and being a single issue voter is encouraged.

We choose the family we want. It’s a mindset that we choose whether to pass on.

I spent more time online than I’d like. Probably need a life change or a hobby that overrides social media addiction.

my advice is try and set up 1 on 1s like they do at work lol. Be explicit time and place.

I had to tactfully shame my mom for this. Asked if she wanted her end to be quick or slow. She didn’t have the capacity to even think of it cause it’s not a possibility. Some folks just don’t really think about others in certain ways.
