It is fine. Because we (my last gig was an IT service company basically replacing the IT department for companies too small to have a dedicated dept) also sell UPS (uninterruptible power supplies) and power outages don’t last longer than a few moments here (and if they do, it usually is someone’s fault). So either our customers don’t even notice the outage, only their workstations shut down or in the worst case the affected customer’s servers shut down in order and turn back on automatically. Or, in the worst case from a customer’s perspective, they finally do buy a UPS.
