My guess is they’ve successfully scrubbed everything involving Republicans like they said they were already doing with Trump so now they all feel safe in “releasing” them, or it’ll get blocked under the pretense of the current investigation into Democrats. The only reason any of them would ever want them released at this point is if they think they’ve already won.

But the DOJ has an open investigation into all those dems involved and this will stop the release. Oopsidoodles!
