Congratulations, anon.
The link between citing your sources, for why you’re thinking what you’re thinking, and not copy/pasting said sources, is in fact fairly smart. Almost intellectual.
Anon think we might be Giants, standing on little dandys shoulders
I mean, plagiarism is about presenting others’ ideas as your own. You can write an essay made up of exclusively the ideas of others and present it as a grand, unified theory of [ ], or grab some tasty niblets from the works of others to spice up your arguments. The idea that you are meant to singularly offer novelty to the professor (‘s assistant) who has read something exceeding your essay, possibly within the same hour, is silly. And yes, I realize that they’re being silly, but then, so am I in taking them seriously
Prof made anon think, so they became anti-intellectual
