Not just that but there is evidence that the US intentionally feature limits planes that they sell to foreign governments, to the point that they can disable them remotely.

How any government can trust US made planes is beyond me.

We need to stop calling this hypocrisy.

Republicans and conservatives are about oppression.

“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”

Anti-abortion laws are about punishing “sluts”. Their abortions are allowed because something bad happened to them. Sluts deserve it because they should have just squeezed an aspirin between their legs.

Only one party cares about hypocrisy and it’s not the Republicans.

The UN is largely ineffective due to the security council. The fact that one country can effectively shut down a vote is the opposite of the Federation of Planets.

Now that I think of it, of course the UN is ineffectual. It’s set up like the US system of legislature. A powerful smaller body that is largely disproportionate to the rest of the world fully controls everything the UN does.

I could have sworn that the FOIA office in the FBI was dismantled under DOGE.

I am assuming that this FOIA office is an assembly of cronies that just have a magic marker and is censoring Trump and other prominent Republicans.

If it were easy everyone would do it.

Absolutely nothing. But it seems like for the alt right, being queer is enough to disqualify your credentials and even your personhood.

I rode in an Uber once where the driver was a conspiracy theorist. He said that global warming was made up by the liberal elite to make people gay. And then without taking a breath, talked about how every summer seems to get warmer than the year before.

Yeah this is one of those statements that’s easy for the powerful make not realizing the effort it takes for normal people to do something.

I’m sure supreme court justices have some level of security but doubt that even federal appellate judges do. They are often far more influential than SCOTUS.

The fact that going against a political entity requires security should give us all pause for concern.

I’m about to get laid off and I’ve been thinking of returning to woodworking. I got all of the tools that I’ve used one or twice on specific projects. But with some time to actually dedicate to it, I might pick it back up.

From what I understand about witsec is that it’s incredibly compartmentalized. Unless the marshall actually reveals to the president where the witness lives, that information is inaccessible.
