Why? Lilith was the best siren gameplay in the series. Yeah, ol Randy fucked her up real good with their dogshit writing, but her character never really changed. I’ve never been able to seriously pick up another siren character because nothing compares to phasewalk.
Had a job interview at their Ames facility back in December. It was an interesting opportunity, and it required a LOT of sacrifices in terms of commute and workload, but I could’ve made it work. Then they tried to pull the “Could we interest you in a contractor position?” switcheroo at the end of the hiring process and I noped the fuck out. The next week, Trump announced he was cutting all contractor jobs and freezing new hires for the agency.

My dad lived in Pasadena, TX. The one time I visited him there, it was 95-105 at all times, humidity never dropped below 90%, you could set your watch by the daily thunderstorm (between 11am and 1pm), and it flooded every few months because that part of Pasadena is technically at an elevation of like 7 feet above sea level. Pretty sure king tide put the lawn underwater.
My point is there are plenty of reasons to hate Pasadena besides being in Texas.
Mass effect had this weird metamorphosis across the series where the character writing and gameplay improved noticeably between each game in the series while the story and mechanics took big steps back. Andromeda had some of the best movement/power sets in the series, not to mention your own build-a-gun workshop, while absolutely failing at everything else it tried to do. “My face is tired” indeed random not-the-citadel lady.
