Who would you recommend for a good ebook provider with good author/publisher returns?

Sidestroke is the best way to deal with waves IMHO. Pretty much so long as you keep calm and your lungs nearly full of air you’ll be alright breast stroking. I just hate being surprised by waves. Same reason I don’t backstroke even on big lakes.

Agree. Moral of the story is basically that every HOA has the potential to suck, so don’t take the extremely substantial risk that it will in your lifetime. Just buy a different house.

PSA to homebuyers: Even if the HOA has reasonable rules now and is run by your neighbors, don’t expect that to continue when they get older and want to pass off management to a company who will make life a living hell.

Compartmentalizing reality more like. It does no good to live in existential dread constantly, but when bad things are coming, it’s also good to be aware of them. Switching in and out of that compartment is a skill developed over long stents of stress, but it’s a good skill to have.
