I ran the X video through a translation app using Turkish to English and got this, which doesn’t really say much. Guessing the translation is terrible.

The translation I got from the video clip in the OP x post is:

“They’re all politicians. They all tried to treat us like bugs, but they treat everyone like that. They tortured greta very badly in front of our eyes. Get up.”

“Evet”[sic]

Guessing this^ was an error in my translation app.

“They persecuted Greta. Greta is still a little child.”

“They killed them. They made them kiss the israeli flag. So they did the same thing as the nazis”

Maybe someone who speaks turkish or whatever language is being spoken can help us understand the beating claim, because so far there is no source for that.

I saw that earlier and it’s really shitty that they have her in a cell that is giving her rashes (probably from bedbugs) and that they’re doing some stupid thing with flags. She did nothing wrong.

Still not the same magnitude of what is described in the X “quote” which has zero sources and no way to verify their translation, for me anyway.

The X quote which has zero source that lines up with it:

“They [Israelis] dragged little Greta [Thunberg] by her hair before our eyes, beat her, and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag. They did everything imaginable to her, as a warning to others,”

Al Jazeera has a different report. They say she was dragged, not beaten.

I cannot understand the language spoken in that X video, there is no translation, and there are no free publicly available no-login X.com video translation options that I can find.

Additionally I cannot find the cnn turk video from this activist on the internet anywhere but this x link.

I would be very surprised if they actually did what this post describes because everyone would be outraged. She’s a sweetheart and so many eyes are watching what they do.

Microsoft is maximizing subscription revenue this year. It’s all about increasing that y/y revenue while burning cash on AI that will explode in their face revenue wise, unless the subscription price hikes land.

My boss showed me the article yesterday, but apparently it’s the old news from earlier this year. It went from 70 to 100 back in Feb.

That’s still a giant increase from whatever you would have paid last year.

They’re also upping the sub price for some home user office plans. Apparently it’s milk the customer time at microsoft.

It’s just like all the other garbage ‘leadership’ decisions based on how it’s always been done, rather than focusing on actual outcomes.

Sadly it’s way easier for underperforming management to say “ass in chair m-f 9-5” as a productivity improvement than to try and quantify reduced turnover as how it relates to output or wasted man hours from training up new people.

Relies on proper leadership that isn’t following current MBA principals.

It’s too easy to go for a cash grab. Broadcom is a great example.

4x10 is so stupid though. A huge portion of roles could get everything they need to do done in 3x8 or 4x8.

Capitalism doesn’t really see building a well treated highly compensated team of exceptional high skill workers as consistently generating more money for them.

For this to work you need a few people at the helm who actually give a shit about long term results. Capital wants bigger numbers with each earnings report which doesn’t always happen with gaming.

I for one have no comprehension as to how blizzard has maintained it’s following, but it’s a great example for how even the best companies can turn to shit by shareholder/board member directions. The money got too big with WoW.

These offers must have a stipulation of you hitting a grand slam and accomplishing General AGI or automating white collar work such as software development completely and entirely without any user intervention and without any errors or hallucination whatsoever.

They aren’t going to pay this kind of money for you to just show up and try your best. It must be tied to a performance goal that is all but unattainable but if done would provide trillions of dollars to the ownership class.
