Scifi short stories are the only reason I go to Reddit anymore.
As long as you have the free drive space, any of the major distros (Ubuntu, Fedora, NixOS, Arch) are a good choice.
Personally I like Kubuntu, but at this point, unless you have special requirements they are all variations on a theme.
Annoyance. However it’s usually a mod coming in and either locking or deleting a post (either due to the post itself breaking a community rule or because the comment section got too rowdy to effectively moderate) that causes the abrupt end to a conversation.
Haven’t run into too many folks deleting their posts.
I use Forgejo for my private git repos but in all honesty, it’s massive overkill for my needs.
Might take a look at NextCloud though it may be overkill as it’s intended to be a full Google Cloud or Office365 replacement. On the other hand, it is modular so you only have to set up what you actually need.
Meh, I don’t say anything online I wouldn’t say to your face, so the folks that know me would just be “Ya, that tracks.”
Might wind up on a few more government lists though.
Oh well. Winter is coming.
