I really enjoy Nic Cage as a schlubby loser. Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas, Adaptation, etc. He’s ridiculous and distractingly bad as an action star or anyone “cool” like in Gone in 60 Seconds, The Rock, National Treasure.

I highly recommend The Little Things where he did a great job even though I hate him too. He was good enough to break through my disgust for him as a person and just be disgusted purely by the character he portrayed.

They specifically used the word “overseas” in the article, but we all know this will not leave our continent and mostly won’t even leave our borders.

Just like medicine, he’ll stop at 1500% so it doesn’t sound outlandish.
