It’s not at all countries, with the recent round of censoring on Steam and Itch it was an Australian TERF/SWERF advocacy group called Collective Shout. But other policy changes have been linked to their sister orgs in places like the US. They got 1000 people to complain until the policy was changed.

But wouldn’t part of their contract duties include going back for a missed collection if the government body told them too? Or is this somewhere that’s unincorporated and they get paid by homeowners directly? We don’t really have unincorporated territory in most places where people live in Australia so I’m not familiar.

I’ve taken that much LSD before (and as much as 600μg), taken DMT during trips, but still haven’t tried Salvia. I cannot think of anything less pleasant to do while tripping on these drugs than sitting there talking with a computer. I just, I would really caution you. Many different forms of psychosis include aspects that cause the person/s to feel exceptional, unique, special etc, and drug-induced psychosis is a fairly common thing. It can be incredibly difficult, bordering on impossible, to have insight into that on your own. But please be careful and take care of yourselves.

Last thing I will say though, is if you’re using psychoactives again, please try and take the time to enjoy them? Put some music on, do some drawing, make a light show with some smart bulbs, cuddle your plushies, watch some weird media. Drink lots of water! Consider getting someone you trust to tripsit you. Seriously, just do some fun things with it, rather than taking it super seriously.

Yeah, you can just request it from my council here in Melbourne as well and they’ll do it. You can ask for a courtesy collection or say that it was missed.

Yeah I mean, it would cost them way more to verify that stuff than to just pick the bin up. You’ve also got to remember that garbage collection is a public health issue, especially in a large city, as well as an environmental one.

How would they verify that though? There’s no such thing* as a “list of residents”. They don’t have access to things like elector rolls or driver’s license databases and even then those wouldn’t be fully complete. They have property title records but those don’t show all residents and are useless for renters.

I think you’re just surprised by something working by the honour system, because so many things in Aus require you to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt, like Centrelink. But more interactions with the government should be set up like this. We spend way more money trying to catch “doll bludgers” than we get back.
