If it works for you, why change it? Cream vs. lotion vs. moisturizer or whatever is probably 50% thickness and 50% marketing.

She has such a pretty face!
A couple of years ago, we were coming home from visiting my in-laws in Florida and I sat next to a woman on the plane who found out we were “going home” to SF and wanted to talk my ear off about everything that’s scary there. First of all, I didn’t want to talk to you anyway, lady, I just want to read my book. But since you asked, no, I don’t know what you mean when you are talking about how dangerous it is. I played it as simply confused about what she was talking about, and eventually she got confused at my response and left me alone. I wasn’t going to be successful convincing her; I knew that. But playing it that way was non-confrontational and still seemed to have the desired effect, which was to put a chink in the armor of her misinformed opinions.
I think they must have a fundamental misunderstanding about how big Los Angeles is. Like, truly, it is monstrous. And even when the city ends, it keeps going.
Gotcha. My aesthetician (who I must explain helped me save my adult-acne-ridden skin) suggested Neutragena Sensitive Skin Moisturizer with a separate physical sunscreen on top. Reddit swears by Cerave, but she says their method just strips your skin’s natural moisture barrier and then attempts to add it back, so she was not a fan. I’m not sure if Neutragena is available in the UK, but when I was there a few years ago and my luggage was delayed, I bought something that had “simple” or “nature” (or both?) in the title and was a white and light green label, and it seemed comparable.
