You’ve got an IR sensor somewhere that is supposed to turn the lights on when it senses a person’s presence. The heat from the boiling water is tripping sensor.

I have a similar sensor in my faucet. It always turns the faucet on when I pour boiling water into the sink.

USB. Most things don’t need AC power. We can get rid of wall warts and create a universal standard by including USB C ports on AC plugs.

I don’t understand the point of this. Minor scratches and dings are a cost of doing business. Driving away your customers over a nickel or dime will leave you in bankruptcy. It’s bizarre.

The David lynch version of Dune. I find it much more enjoyable than the recent version(s). The art direction and casting are amazing.

The only clunky part is in the TV cut where they use storyboards and voiceovers to give some back history about the Mentats. Pretty sure this was not in the theatrical release though it’s been a while since I’ve rewatched it. Oh and the human close ups of riding the worms is showing its age in the special effects department.
