reminds me of stories of when they would target wrestling fans. Like they would pretend they were WWE wrestlers and talk to fans and get them to send them money cause they’d be broke. Then one time of the fans actually went to a show to confront one of the wrestlers about paying them back. jumped the barricade and everything.

Just blows my mind that it always seems to be mentally ill individuals that have a ton of money and they can just easily hand it out like that.

So the asshat went on twitter and posted some stupid AI image of him like he’s in fucking Apocalypse Now and essentially declared war on a US city.

and the US will do nothing about this and continue to let him run rough shot over the nation while news articles come out left right and center stating “what he’s doing is illegal!” US democrats will also shout “what he’s doing is illegal!” what I’ve come to learn about the current US Political system “nothing is illegal if there are zero consequences”

Honestly at this point what’s to stop him from just saying “There will be no more elections, I’m in charge for life and when I die I will pass down leadership to my next of kin” who would stop him at this point? I honestly don’t think anyone will.

yeah this isn’t WH 40K. You can’t make a “Primaris Putin” and “continuous organ transplants” are only going to top you out at a few extra years, maybe, unless this fucker has somehow struck a deal with Nurgle or Khorne or some other Warp entity.

I’m in Canada, Toronto specifically and the Homeless situation here is just as bad as it is in the US. I do volunteer work for a couple homeless outreach programs and I’d say easily since the pandemic the homeless demographic has drastically changed.

The stereotype that homeless people are junkies or mentally ill has shattered. The people I’m working with now are, for now, mentally fit and sober. More women than ever, more elderly, more minorities that in the past generally didn’t have many homeless within them because their communities would help prevent them from being homeless i.e. Asians, Muslims, etc

So. Many. Have jobs. So many have families, children, and they are sleeping rough so that they can simply afford to have their kids or older parents or other family members continue to live with whatever roof they can afford over their heads. There are SO many that are sleeping rough because there is simply no room for them to sleep in the tiny studio apartment they can barely afford with their kids, wives, parents, whatever.

I’m handing out food to people who dont’ even look homeless. They can’t afford to BUY FOOD. All their money goes to rent or other important bills. I’m dealing with people who were on drugs and alchol who then got sober in hopes to get off the streets and find work only to relapse because there is no work or what work they can get isn’t anywhere near enough to get them off the streets so they slump RIGHT BACK into that hole because, and they’ve told me first hand, “There’s no point.”

Lines are getting longer every month, The portions for food and other things we hand out are getting smaller because NO ONE can afford to donate ANYTHING anymore anywhere near the amount we need to cover the increasingly rising population we’re working with.

And none of the politicians could give a flying fuck. None of them. Regardless of what side of the fence they’re on and how far away from said fence they are. We could have fixed this years ago, decades ago, but we chose profits over people. We made this bed a long time ago, It’s almost your turn to get into it.

For us volunteers this is no longer a battle we’re fighting in hopes of winning. No, at this point we’ve lost. Now we’re just hoping we have enough bandages to slow the bleeding as much as possible before we run out.

I’ll be honest with you for me personally I just don’t have the patience for the game. I just want to build my ship with whatever parts are in the game and explore. that’s it. I don’t want to mine resources, I don’t want to wait in some random station for some random ship to show up that MIGHT have the part I want. I don’t want to do any of that.

I barely made it out of the tutorial and forced my way through it.

Nothing wrong with NMS but I didn’t want to play it the way it made me play it. I just want to build in peace and explore.

When it becomes impossible to afford to A. have a family B. hell even be in a relationship C. afford a home D. rent for the rest of your life and then struggle to pay rent or meet the annual rent increases and E. wages continue to stagnate there’s really not much of a point in living.

Add all this to the US healthcare system where if you get sick you essentially have to “hope for the best” or if it’s something incredibly serious you then become dependent on the kindness of strangers via a GoFundMe then yeah…it’s grim.

it’s been a spell since I’ve been to the US but the only thing I remember about Cracker Barrel is the triangle/golf tee game they had at the tables. The food? I don’t remember anything about the food or what I even ate. but that game? I was all over it.

I actually preferred Bob Evans breakfasts. I remember as a kid whenever my family visited the states I would insist we go to Bob Evans for breakfast.

Examples: Virtua Racing on the Genesis or Star Fox on the SNES. they were slow and quite laggy. sure they were essentially pushing the limits of what the console could do and in the case of Star Fox had to have the FX chip in the cartridge but I wouldn’t call racing around on the Genesis in Virtua Racing a “smooth” experience.

Other games are like this too with loading. Mortal Kombat CD on the Sega CD. you get to the Shang Tsung fight and the game has to load every time he morphs. Other games would also slow to a crawl if there was a lot on the screen. To your point Ranger X on the Genesis had these little tadpole enemy things that could quickly populate the screen if you didn’t take them out quickly it would slow the game down. Same would happen on the PSX with the game Loaded.

well they sure as fuck ain’t killing Hamas. Someone needs to update the wikipedia for this “war” to change it from Israel vs Hamas to Israel vs The Associated Press

Seriously, can’t remember the last time they killed Hamas en masse other than a single “commander” but they sure as hell are good at killing Journalists, blowing up hospitals, and butchering children.
