Yeah, Capitalism fundamentally isn’t “for all”, it’s for holders of Capital.

Lol, I have a friend exactly like this. Zero self-discipline, when he’s single he just stays at home slowly becoming more and more delinquent on the rent. We keep telling him he should join the army, cause it’s the only way he’s going to get any structure in his life.

It’s shocking because of how easy it was for them to do the decent thing. Literally all they had to do was nothing, but they paid for the lawyers and did the work, and made a conscious effort to fuck over the most vulnerable people in the country.
A few years later: “dang, they knew all along”

This is one topic I’m quite willing to go into conspiracy theory territory on, because Google have a lot of very clever engineers and must surely know that their search is dogshit.
The only plausible explanation is that they’re somehow making more money doing this than they did by being quietly competent.
Yeah, if you were to ask “do cisgender people like to be noticed?” people would assume you were being facetious.

Yeah I think this could backfire horribly, when grifters with degrees are given that extra credibility by government decree. Andrew Wakefield is a doctor after all.

He declared that “cis” was a slur and banned Twitter users who used it

Sadly if you spend any time on LinkedIn, most management types still look up to him as a role model.

I could admire someone sticking to their principles in face of losing money, but when the principles are “be a dick to marginalised people for the lulz” you’ve just got a garbage human being

Ugh, this is like the whole tipping thing. Used to be that it was 10%, now it’s 25-33%?

Sadly this is the same the world over.
In the lead up to Brexit, UKIP had a startling number of foreign names on its roster of candidates. Immigrants and children of immigrants, who were so keen to pull the ladder up behind them and be treated by others as a “true” native, that they devoted serious time and energy to making it happen. They don’t like seeing other immigrants because they involuntarily project their own feelings about those immigrants as outsiders, back onto themselves.
That’s a good point about private practice. If you go directly from graduating to being in charge of a whole practice without having gone through the middle stage of building experience and seeing how practices are run, you’re probably not going to do a good job.
Dishwashers use less water than hand washing. Perhaps you were imagining that the entire dishwasher fills up with water like a clothes washer does?

Even your charitable reading of the situation should still disqualify him to be a senator. Even if he’s not a nazi, we’re still left with him being clueless.

weirdest use of that meme format to date
also the irony of 145 IQ man tripping over his own grammar

LOL, I got here after the comment was removed so I’ve no idea what they said, but immediately recognized the username from them being a dick and their posts being removed by a mod on another thread.
Amusingly (or perhaps despairingly) I notice they’re also a mod themselves in another community…

Lots of easy blocks tonight.
Good idea

Sorry I’m dumb, can someone tell me how it’s Trump that decides this? I thought wholesalers and retailers decided where to source meat from, not the federal government?
Which means they beat inflation by like 1000%, good investment
