the thing you have to remember is that the internet is built off the backs of furries and trans women.

that’s not to say that all tech workers are one of those two, but a lot of those two work in tech, specifically open source.

and being a woman makes you immune to biases?

really, so being a women means your a perfect soul?

well we’re not making things extreme so…

as a trans person myself, I said nothing of your gender, and only spoke of your biases. just because your a woman, doesn’t mean you don’t have biases.

if you dislike what it says about you, that’s for you to process and deal with.

I’ve done nothing but point out what it’s saying to me, and just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s not being said.

real talk here…

its okay to be uncomfortable with what something says about you.

but you CAN controll what you unconsciously say. By starting to recognize these biases and start to examine the root, and decide if you want to change how you do that in the future.

I’m not even saying you have to, or even you should change. Just that if you WANT to change, you can.

but that’s the point isn’t it?

even a meme is deeper than it looks of you did it based on who you are.

why not swap who is ‘wrong’ in this meme?
