On the other hand, their enemy’s entire platform is, “we’re not crazy like them, but we’re also happy to be conservative enough to keep trying to court votes we’ll never get.”
The plot on this particular issue was lost when so many elected representatives, from both parties, went on TV and said “infrastructure isn’t sexy” with straight faces. It’s their fucking job. It’s not supposed to be sexy.
