Would you rather a Chinese-owned TikTok or one run by a consortium of Trump-supporting billionaires?
That’s the choice Australia is being asked to consider.
The Trump administration has outlined that a proposed deal for TikTok to remain in operation in the United States would transfer the control of TikTok’s US operations to a US company that will have seven seats on the board, with six filled by Americans. Donald Trump has suggested a consortium of US businesses, including Larry Ellison’s Oracle and Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch’s Fox Corporation, are involved in the deal.

They don’t have to think about it at all. The answer is don’t use fascist propaganda machine. So fucking simple.
The children yearn for the fascist propaganda machine!
Rupert and friends have done far more harm to Australia than China

¿Por qué no tampoco?
¿Por qué no ninguna de los dos?
My and google translate’s spanish sucks. Thank you.
Ha, no worries.
No elijas ninguno de los dos.
Noeh! Lijas ninguno de Los dos?
Si! Lijo ninguno!
Noeh…escojiendo lijas:

Noeh! Ya no the cojas las lijas! Que no te arde la verga?
Porque no menos que nada?
If I liked short-form video, which I have not been very impressed with, I’d probably watch YouTube Shorts rather than either.
Dan Supernault has been hard at work making an open source, AGPLv3, soon to be ActivityPub Fediverse-linked shortform video service called Loops.
Youtube shorts are generally considered the worst of both worlds.
Most creators don’t actually understand the medium and Youtube screws up their own algorithm between forcing shorts on people but also basing them off of long form video watching.
China! The GOP are the worst evil.
You could choose your own interests, and block both. Just saying
Or just don’t use tiktok
I wonder what Canada will do. join the US version or stay with the Chinese bytedance
“When Canada becomes the 51st state they they will see the light” 🫲🎃🫱
Give me China any day
The US government or the Chinese government… I’m actually not sure which I trust more at the moment.
All i see is the trolley problem.
“May have to choose?” How about they get to choose? Us in America have no choice.
Neither! Kill social media!
