It’s worth the exercise IMO. Was in a similar boat, then picked it back up after a year and a bit and finished it. I was happy I did, it’s a great book.
That said, if it doesn’t grab you, it doesn’t grab you. Nothing at all wrong with that, and it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea.
Man did that dude need an editor who could stand up to him.
That said still liked infinite jest. His college graduation speech is also pretty good. Other stuff was hit or miss.
Nonfiction is his best work.
I really need to continue Infinite Jest. It took me ages to read like 60 pages.

I’ve honestly been loving it so far! It’s just a much more dense read than my last book hahaha
