Diablo 2 and Ragnarok Online are tied as my most played games. I did buy the Diablo 2 remaster and it exceeded my expectations in every way and I lost so many hours into it…

Community server TF2 was the absolute peak of game-playing in my life. I was laid off from a job in the late ‘00s and just played on a server with a bunch of people I loved for 40+ hours a week. I found a shady key guy I would send money to and he’d give me keys for a buck a pop. Got an unusual towering pillar that eventually bought me an index, a million years later.

Love that game.

I kept getting just LASERED then I realized people playing with controllers get aimbot at medium or close range, and I’m using a keyboard and mouse like a pleb.

Yeah that’s very strange. The 1080ti still holds up super well!

What’s in your rig? I’m on a 9900k, 3070ti, 32GB RAM, and a nice SSD and I get 50-80FPS on high…

I’m currently watching YouTube on LibreWolf and have been all day. I’m on Windows 10, though. Our Linux box has been playing vids all day too, but that’s Firefox+uBlock.

My partner thought “SMH” meant “so much hate”, and “SMDH” meant “so much damn hate”. It worked perfectly in every situation they heard it in. I taught them the real meaning when I realized this about a half decade into dating.

I LOOOOVE sushi. I love allll sushi. I’ve never had a piece of sushi I didn’t like.

…until I was at a nice sushi place, and I got sushi with a quail egg on it. I don’t know what else was on it, because the semi-raw or raw quail yolk ball was horrid. I couldn’t stand it. I spit it out and I felt soooo bad.

I’ve lost three close friends due to suicide. Two of them had been my best friend, but for various reasons, I was a bit more distanced from for a few months to a year. That hit hard.

The other friend was current my best friend, my partner’s best friend, and most of our friends’ best friend. Her pretty-much-partner found her. That was devastating to myself and everyone around me.

I don’t know if I’d say they changed my view on life. I feel pretty much the same about life, but now I appreciate all of the time I spend with my loved ones more.

When the DS came out, I walked 20 minutes to the mall, picked one up, walked home, and started playing.

I noticed it had one red stuck pixel.

I had my dad drive me back when he came home and got a new one.

My PSP has one white pixel but the pixels are so small, I kept it… especially because it was a Christmas present.

Yah I saw the original in 3D and on acid, and it was incredible.

I also will probably never see the sequels.

That’s totally fair! I was straightedge for my early life and also didn’t understand. Something changed for me when I was in my 20s. I decided to try cannabis and realized everything I was told about drugs was wrong. I can’t smoke cannabis anymore, it gives me crazy anxiety. But I do take MDMA every four months or so with my partner, because it’s the best feeling I’ve ever experienced!

The coolest drug I’ve taken was 5-MeO-DiPT, or “Foxy”. It altered everything about the world. It was the only thing I’ve ever tried that changed time. My partner at the time and I were listening to music familiar to us, and both noticed notes stretching out way longer than they usually do. The body feelings were also insane. I would never do it again hahaha

As far as drugs go, I’ve tried basically everything but opiates (well I’ve smoked opium, but nothing else. I avoid those) and the way some drugs can change your visual, auditory, and even temporal perceptions is the most amazing and interesting experience in life. It’s truly incredible. I don’t do much anymore, but I’m so happy I have tried what I did. Beyond perception, certain drugs have made me feel pleasure beyond anything I could possibly imagine. Some people told me stuff like that could ruin other pleasures in life, but I have not at all had that happen. Perhaps heroin or fent could do that.
