McDonald’s Coke.

The water, the syrup, the mechanism, the ice, the cup, the straw - everything engineered and closely controlled to not only be great on it’s own as a standalone drink/experience, but also SYNERGIZE PERFECTLY with their meals.

If you’re going to McD’s and not ordering Coke, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

It’s essentially a three star Michelin drink and meal, but priced at McDonald’s prices and available and mass produced everywhere.

Burger King is the best when done properly. I’ve had godawful burger King and it’s by far the closest to innout. Five guys is good tasting, but always melts into a horrible mess, which is basically an automatic fail. If they could solve that (maybe I’ll try extra toasted bun next time), I would consider them to be higher ranked.

It’s worse than ok. I’d rather have any other common fast food. Fries are stale, shake melted, burger bad. The burger was the best part, but god damn it was a terrible meal. Not worth the meal. I would have rather eaten saltine crackers and peanut butter. We ended up throwing most of it out and going somewhere else.

Contrary to the negativity, while McDonald’s for me is generally considered the bell-curve available absolute 5/10, their food engineering is incredible and worth admiring. They’re the one chain that I confidently am in awe of from a scientific perspective, AND, still hold the crown for best Coke.

Hey don’t bring vanilla into this, vanilla is actually an amazingly deep and complex spice and flavor. Common =/= complex or good

I basically agree with all but the coworkers not friends thing. You spend a fuckton of basically everyday with these people - you need to make it not a living hell for everybody, and the only people who ever say this shit are the most hostile, passive aggressive, self centered, backstabbing, anti-competitive, two-faced people you’ll ever meet.

Like sure you don’t have to give each oral and have lunch together, but, christ, don’t be such cutthroat selfish pricks to each other, that’s what the billionaires want.

Burning things for heat or energy.

Marriage.

Candy.

Social tribes.

War.

Seems like a good level of digital freedom actually. Be connected, but only just enough.

The US collapsing is going to absolutely affect the rest of the world. This is very VERY bad.

I haven’t really been following it or him (I don’t really even know much, other than the gist of not wanting games to disappear when devs decide it’s too expensive to keep the servers). What did he do? Because normally he gives pretty good takes.

We can help men, I’m all for it.

But I need a good faith effort.

Women first, and then we help the men if they still want or need help and it isn’t just like “wahhh we’ve lost our unfair systemic advantages”.

I’d be willing to be that because modern feminism ACTUALLY encompasses actual men’s rights and is basically all egalitarian values, that they will (continue to) never take that offer since that isn’t what the VAST majority even want.
