Ideally I would want something that fits well with the aesthetics (late nineties or early two thousands), but I’m open for other suggestions.
- None. - Just have a big throbbing veiny anime cock spraying cum everywhere.
- “If only there was some kind of late 90s anime featuring C and lisp that’s also heavily associated with linux users.” - Jokes aside, Lain.

- Aisha Clan-Clan is a perfect fit. Outlaw Star came out in 1998, about in the middle of the desired time period. The green in her typical outfit matches the green in your terminal.
- What is that Plasma theme? I need. - Commonality - Legendary. Use Faye Valentine as your background. ;)

- It’s in the neofetch printout, my dude - I’m on mobile, and it’s far too small for me to read without enlarging. Good to know for the future, though.

- Finally someone asking the real questions
- To match the era the monogatari ladies such as shinobu. Especially since it’s such a small laptop. - Or card captor Sakura for 90s.
- Bulma? - Enhanced Bulma - genAI BS

- What about the anime version of Keith, the C++ mascot? - https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/foxdance/keith-the-c-rat-mascot
- I’d go with a touhou character. Maybe Ran Yakumo.
- Anyone from Dragonball. - Or Love Hina. There’s some great choices there. - Bulma!!

- Late nineties to early two thousands on an arch-based distro is Ayanami Rei territory for sure - EDIT: could also be Serial Expeirments Lain or Major Kusanagi depending on your age and horniness in asking this question - All excellent choices.

- Not late 90’s or early oughts, but I’d put a Vtuber or two on there (personally, I’d do either Fuwamoco or Mel [if Mel were still in Hololive]). Otherwise, because of the ThinkPad, and the OS you’re using (which, from my experience, is a huge mistake if you’re a beginner to Linux), I remember watching something from the 80’s, that being Urusei Yatsura, so maybe Lum if you wanted to go that route. Otherwise, I’d say one of the characters from Rec!. - It’s honestly just a mistake for everyone: https://manjarno.pages.dev/
- Lum is more 80s fromTakahashi, Ranma 1/2 and even Inuyasha would work. - I hadn’t thought of anyone from Inuyasha or Ranma 1/2… as I hadn’t watched either of their animated adaptations. - All good! Catch the Ranma remake on netflix if you can, it’s pretty great - Netflix wouldn’t work. DRM is what ultimately makes it garbage for me. - Of course, that’s just the platform its currently on.

- Lum would be a nice nod to the classics. - OP wanted 90’s-early 00’s, though I thought 80’s could suffice of OP hadn’t thought of it. I could try to find someone obscure too, but I think that’s pointless for what OP requested.

- If youre looking to go less super popular, Armitage III, Ah! My Goddess, Slayers, Macross II are some of my all time favorites!
