forced down our throat by being cast in every single movie that’s released

This is just one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. The man’s only been in 14 movies over the past 5 years. Something like 1500 major studio productions were released over that time. Why do you keep choosing to shove Pedro Pascal down your own throat?

Went back and looked again, it was actually 14 over 6 years, but 2 of those were short films, one was just a cameo, and one was a voice role. So it’s actually 10 movies over the last 6 years, or 1.7 movies per year, that has you so upset. And you’re clearly upset coming back to this thread 4 days after it died

lol what type of ridiculous logic is this? You think I’m upset because I…checks notes…replied to people that replied to my comment the next time I came to this website? Explain that one to me please.

It seems like he’s in a lot of things, because the things he appears in tend to be good, and he’s good in them.

I saw the same complaint about Rami Malek a while back, and his imdb profile is relatively sparse for a two-decade acting career. He just happens to be memorable.

Huh, when you put it that way it sounds like a lot - three films a year for a decade and a half, plus the Mandalorian, etc.

As with almost everything, I reckon the truth is in the middle - that there’s a tribal backlash by those that consider “woke” a slur, and it’s being amplified by those who are genuinely overexposed to him.

Like when the public was overwhelmingly opposed to the ideology that blacks and whites should be in the same public spaces, right? Or that they should be allowed to marry? Or that women should get to vote?

Idk man, it seems like majority opinion shouldn’t be considered when talking about people’s rights. We should all have the same rights.

pedro has a trans family member and he advocates for trans rights. the OP is mistaking being pro trans rights with the more muddied waters around trans athletes in competitive sports. hilariously if they knew anything about m2f trans population and how biochemistry works they’d quickly realize the estrogen these individuals take rapidly normalizes them to their gender’s average in performance.

Your last sentence proves being any doubt that you have zero knowledge on the effects of testosterone, exercise/working out, or biology for that matter.

Tell me - does oestrogen shrink trans women’s lungs? Does oestrogen physically shrink trans women height wise? Does it reduce their arm span?

So you think that a fully grown male who takes testosterone blockers and oestrogen will physically shrink in height, arm span, and their lungs will shrink? If you do, oh boy…the school system has failed you more than you will ever know.

Which is where my statement about female transgender recerting to the mean in performance. Whoch is a well researched and eocumented result. Its not something you can argue over the facts are the facts.

Now go pay someone to teach you about this if you care so much. Not worth my time.

I don’t know if it is most people, but Pedro seems to be in a point of oversaturation. I can see some people tiring of him. I can also see some news outlets trying to make money by putting out negative coverage of him.

Which would also get amplified by trans bigots trying to cancel him.

You know you do that have to watch the stuff he’s in, right? If you’re sick of him then stop paying attention to him and letting him live in your head. And as for the anxiety thing, kind of a dick move to just assume someone’s a creep just because physical touch helps with their anxiety. As someone that had anxiety, I may not relate one-to-one but I definitely get it.

I don’t watch the things he’s in, so yeah, I know that. I’m answering the question that OP asked. You know, the whole point of this thread.

It’s strange how he only needs physical touch from attractive women co-stars, never the unattractive women or the men - that’s why it comes across as very creepy/predatory. You’re acting like there are no predatory people in the world using excuses like anxiety to abuse people.
